I am a CYT-500 trained in
vinyasa flow, therapeutic, trauma-informed and restorative styles of
yoga. My intention is to
teach students how to affect
the quality of their mind
with heart-centered
intentions and by linking
breath with physical
movement.
I am a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, with over 1,000 hours of training
in the therapeutic
applications of Yoga
Therapy for the healing of
various physical, mental and
emotional conditions, with
an emphasis on healing
practices for trauma
survivors.

Using the lens and transformative practices of Yoga, I have created, facilitated and led workshops on various topics such as: yoga as a healing modality for survivors of sexual trauma, compassion fatigue, cultivating balance and building resiliency at Cal State Long Beach, UC Irvine, UC Riverside and the Claremont Colleges. I also serve as a guest faculty member of the Yoga Therapy Training Program at AlcheME Yoga Therapy school in Irvine, CA.
Yoga Therapy is an integrative healing modality of time-tested practices that help clients to heal by empowering them with lifestyle tools to create and sustain positive behavioral changes in all areas of their life.
Working on a one-on-one basis, a Yoga Therapist customizes personal practices consisting of breathwork, movement and meditation designed to meet the client’s specific needs and goals.
The role of the Yoga Therapist is to faithfully guide and oversee the client’s progress as they move towards balance and a state of optimal health and joy.
I believe in the human body’s amazing ability to heal itself and I have devoted my life’s work to helping others reconnect with the wisdom, resiliency and wholeness that already resides within them.
As a childhood trauma survivor, I know first hand what it feels like to be completely and utterly broken, but I have also walked the rough road to find my path to healing. The path to healing is different and unique for every person and although it is not an easy one, I KNOW in the deepest parts of my being that the struggle is WORTH IT. . . YOU ARE WORTH IT. . .in order to HEAL, TRANSFORM and THRIVE to live a life beyond your wildest dreams.
